The dog must not have a history of, or current, aggression toward people or other dogs.

The dog must be up to date on all medical needs, including being spayed/neutered and vaccinated. You may also provide a donation to help cover medical expenses (Vetco offers affordable options).

You must be the legal owner of the dog in order to surrender it.

At least 10 photos and 2 videos of the dog must be provided upon surrender.

We require a minimum of 10 days’ notice, once we accept the dog into our rescue, to secure a foster home. In some cases, we can arrange for the dog to be adopted directly from your home.

If the dog must be removed from your home immediately, a donation to cover 10 days of boarding costs will be required.

Owner Surrender
Having to give up a dog is often one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. We understand there are circumstances when is best.
